La Playa Hotel, Carmel-by-the-Sea

The hotel's location is top-class, within a modest walk from Carmel's center with its high-end shops and charming restaurants, as well as the beautiful beach. The rooms were small and overpriced, lacking modern amenities as shown in the pictures. The service exceeded expectations but did not match the premium prices.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were noisy but had a nice rooftop view, although they lacked sufficient furniture.
